Gillian’s knowledge and passion for her work in nutrition and as a health coach was clearly evident in her presentation “Revive and Thrive: Why Food Matters.” In an information filled hour, she managed to impart key tips and strategies for why food truly matters, touched on the gut-health connection, the importance of stress-awareness, breathing to relax and overall, sparked an initial awareness amongst participants that we each can make a difference in our health, one step at a time. In a world where there is too much information and studies on the next-best way to be healthy, trying to live one’s best life can be daunting. Having Gillian’s help navigating the road to health would be a blessed bonus – she is a living embodiment of what she teaches which is inspiring on many levels.
